Structural Features
- Features an open, shroud-less design with thick, deep, independent vanes cast as a single unit; the spacious flow cross-section eliminates dead zones, preventing slurry accumulation and clogging.
- The hub includes a standard keyway and shaft sleeve interface for compatibility with vertical pump shaft assemblies; it can also be equipped with rear vanes to help reduce wear and leakage.
- Precision machined and dynamically balanced; can be integrated with optional front agitation vanes to enhance agitation of media at the tank bottom and prevent sediment buildup.
- A dedicated specification for the 100RV-SP vertical slurry pump; clearances between the impeller, pump body, and wear plate are adjustable, making it suitable for vertical cantilever or submersible installation configurations. Key Features
1. **High Solids Handling Capability:** An unobstructed, fully open structure allows for the smooth passage of large solid particles and long-fiber impurities; it resists clogging and entanglement, making it suitable for high-solids applications.
2. **Rugged Durability:** Features a robust vane design with optional surface hardening on flow-contact areas; it withstands high-velocity particle erosion and offers a long service life.
3. **Stable Operation:** High dynamic balancing precision ensures suitability for vertical long-shaft cantilever configurations; low vibration and noise levels reduce loads on the shaft system and bearings.
4. **High Adaptability:** Available in wear-resistant metal, polyurethane, and rubber versions; standardized specifications facilitate easy assembly/disassembly and excellent spare parts interchangeability.
5. **Excellent Application Suitability:** A double-suction flow path design reduces axial thrust; suitable for continuous submerged operation with no risk of dry-running cavitation, resulting in low maintenance costs.
Applicable Operating Conditions
- **Mining & Metallurgy:** Mineral processing slurries, smelting slag slurries, tailings transport, and sand/gravel/mud extraction.
- **Environmental & Power:** Power plant desulfurization slurries, municipal sewage, industrial wastewater discharge, sump/tank bottom desilting, and fiber-laden sludge transport.
- **Chemical Processing:** Abrasive/corrosive acidic or alkaline slurries, crystalline suspensions, and low-level reactor feeding.
- **General Submerged Applications:** Low-level liquid extraction from tanks, pit/sump drainage, pontoon-mounted dredging, and continuous operation of vertical cantilever pumps. Material Specifications
- Standard Wear-Resistant: High-chromium wear-resistant cast iron and high-alloy white cast iron; suitable for highly abrasive slurry and mineral pulp applications.
- Corrosion-Resistant & Elastic: Polyurethane and natural/synthetic rubber linings; combining wear and corrosion resistance; suitable for mildly acidic/alkaline environments and fine media.
- Specialized Corrosion-Resistant: 304/316L stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, and Hastelloy; for highly corrosive chemical media and seawater applications.
- Surface Hardening: Wear-resistant alloy overlay, tungsten carbide spraying, and carburizing/quenching on flow-path surfaces; further enhancing resistance to erosion and wear to extend service life.
